Upgrade Options
There is a huge amount that’s provided as standard, but guests may wish to cater for their particular needs by upgrading various aspects of their charter. These options are detailed in pull down boxes that will appear within the list of options on this page. All prices exclude VAT.
The boat
- Comes with a qualified and competent skipper and host
- Will comply with all charter requirements.
- Take up to 12 guests.
- The group leader and Skipper shall agree an itinerary for the day. This shall be sent to the group leader for onward distribution to guests.
- The itinerary can include; drop anchor, visit harbours, cruising the Solent, and/or follow a sailing race.
- The Day charter can last up to 8 hrs, and departure and return times can be negotiated.
- The cruising range is within Southampton Water and the Solent.
- Assembly, departure and return shall be from Ocean Village, Southampton.
- Upon arrival, guests shall be offered hot drinks, fruit juice, and plain croissants

The Seafarer’s Breakfast – a Breakfast Upgrade
- The upgrade involves all of the above, plus bacon rolls and danish pastries. Price per person £5.00.

- A selection of sandwiches will be available for lunch or could be taken with afternoon tea, should the group choose to upgrade the lunch option. Guests will be offered a selection of canned alcohol (including Beer, lager and cider) during this meal.

Three options exist
1. LUNCH ASHORE. Book your own restaurant after agreeing your plans with the skipper, then instead of sandwiches for lunch, have them as a returning snack.
2. LUNCH ON BOARD. If you wish to have a more substantial meal on board, you can upgrade your party’s food package to the Captain’s Seafarer’s lunch for £20.00 Per Person.

3. LUNCH ON BOARD. Or upgrade further to The Captain’s Banquet, where a substaintial meal will be prepared on the boat for £35 per person.

Customisable Drink Options
Option 1 - Raid the Captain’s superior wine store Over and above the open ended tea, coffee and fruit juices, guests can choose from a variety of specially selected Berry Bros Wines. The wines selected from the Captain’s superior wine cellar are all excellent wines and sensibly priced.
Wine will be charged as consumed (by bottle and part thereof) plus a corkage of 10%.
Whilst we try to keep these wines in stock, please provide your wine preferences 7 days in advance of the charter.

Option 2 - Raid the Captain’s Reserve wine store
Over and above the open ended tea, coffee and fruit juices, guests can choose from a variety of specially selected Berry Bros Wines. The wines selected from the Captain’s reserve wine cellar are all fantastic wines.
Wine will be charged as consumed (by bottle and part thereof) plus a corkage of 10%.
These wines are not kept in stock. It is essential that your skipper understands your wine preferences 7 days in advance of the charter.

Option 3 – Hit the beer cases
Over and above the open ended tea, coffee and fruit juices, guests can be provided cases of canned beers, lagers and cider.

Sailors are renowned for their love of the strong stuff. Make sure you are stocked by upgrading to the Captain’s spirits.
